Artist Aims

My paintings reflect the connection I feel to the nature of a place. I find that by listening, watching, reflecting and breathing in the energies of the natural world I can channel some of that energy which brings me closer to feelings of peace and understanding in myself.  Each painting is made as a homage to the visual beauty and energy of the nature in my favorite places; places that I visit with friends to rejuvenate and to re-energise; such as Kilcunda, Mt Buller and the Dandenong Ranges.

When viewing my work my main wish is that the viewer can share some sense of that connection to the healing and energising power of nature that I experience when I am in it.
