Suzanne Arnott is an artist that lives and works in an idyllic country town on the outskirts of the Dandenong Ranges.
As a young child Suzanne was always seeking something to draw with and a surface to draw on. During her teenage years her bedroom walls became her canvas. Her passion and talent was recognised at the early age of eleven when she won her first art competion.
Fast forward several years later and Suzanne's art work was quickly attracting attention and she began receiving commissions for murals and floral paintings. During her twenties her nursing career and motherhood became her first priority but her passion for art never waned, there was always a canvas and paints within arms reach.
It wasn't until 2001 when he husband built her an art studio that she began painting in earnest, creating numerous works of art, mainly on a large scale, all were sold to private buyers.
Suzanne's style changes with her moods and inspirations, one piece will be intracately detailed while another will be of broad carefree brushstrokes in vivid colours. Like her style her mediums also vary from pastels, charcoal, oils and acrylics.
