Artist Bio - Rebecca Carter"Rebecca Carter is a rising star in the Australian contemporary art scene. She has won awards and is building her career abroad".
I've triumphed over numerous severe setbacks, such as heart failure. But I firmly think that "you can either choose to sink or swim," and I will always make the decision to swim rather than let these harrowing events shape my destiny. If anything, it's inspired me even more to realise my artistic ambitions.
I am mostly interested in colour theory, texture, movement, and symbolic meaning. Its goal is to instill ideals and increase consciousness regarding mental health and other matters that are very important to me. SIGNATURE III As I got more into the art world, I started to doubt who I was as an artist. What distinguishes or identifies myself from other artists? How may my piece of art be recognised right away as a masterwork by Rebecca Carter?
MEANING III My numerology number is III (3), which stands for the past, present, and future as well as the holt trinity.
In my imagination, I feel as though I was born, almost died, and am now on the verge of rebirth.
My InfluencesMotivated by the artistic creations of others, particularly Ian Rayer-Smith, who use colour to portray contemporary culture through his own I use contemporary mediums such as creamy chalks, acrylic ink, and alcohol ink to produce my artwork. I am mostly interested in colour theory, texture, movement, and symbolic meaning. Its goal is to instill ideals and increase consciousness regarding mental health and other matters that are very important to me. My use of abstract painting allows me to convey a raw emotional quality that I hope will connect with people by using colour to influence their psyche. |

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
