Pierina Sannia is a Melbourne born artist with Sardinian heritage.
Her past occupations have always involved creativity, ranging from transparency retouching, fashion styling and jewellery design. It was not until the Covid lockdowns that the Soft Pastel medium came to her attention. Since then she has won more than twenty awards, including the Ming McKay Award 2021, the Pastel Society of Australia 'Pastelist of the Year 2023' and was also accepted into the International Association of Pastel Societies 2023 Juried Exhibition.
Pierina is a member of the Pastel Society of Victoria Australia and the Pastel Society of Australia.

Instagram Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
