Contemporary oil painter patricia walsh is based on the picturesque North Coast of NSW. Her artwork draws inspiration from the unique beauty of the Australian landscape and coastline, with a particular focus on colour, texture, mood and light to create her atmospheric abstract and impressionist paintings.
Walsh is a regular finalist in major national art awards including: The John Glover Landscape Prize, Tasmania; The Morris Art Prize, Gold Coast; 9x5 Impressionist Landscape Prize, Waverley Woollahra Art School, Sydney; Pro Hart Outback Art Prize, Broken Hill Regional Gallery; John Villiers Art Prize, Winton Regional Gallery; Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize; Stanthorpe Art Prize, Stanthorpe Regional Gallery; Lethbridge Art Award, Brisbane.
Patricia has held a number of successful solo shows and participated in many group exhibitions. Her works are held in numerous art collections.
