Patricia (Trish) grew up in Sandringham, Victoria in a family that encouraged her love of painting and drawing.
She completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at The University of Melbourne, majoring in Botany. She held a number of research positions in plant science and, while working, completed her Master of Science degree.
In 2006 she joined the Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group (GECAG), where she enjoyed watercolour classes with Margaret Gurney, Craig Penny then Maxine Wade. She loves experimenting with new watercolour techniques & subjects which is reflected in the variety of her work. She has attended many workshops most recently with Fabio Cembranelli & toured to Italy with artist Ev Hales, South Australia with artist Amanda Hyatt & Tasmania with artists Vivi Palegeorge & Clive Sinclair.
Her work has been exhibited & sold in several Rotary & other community art shows as well as the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show.
In addition to her membership of GECAG, she is a member of Hughesdale Art Group and the Bayside en pleinair group. Trish has recently joined the Watercolour Society of Victoria.
