My practice is rooted in transformation — of materials, perceptions, and lived experience. Trained as a neuroscientist (PhD), I now approach art with both scientific precision and an intuitive curiosity for the sacred. In my current series, Wooden Cutlery Collages, I critically reframe the language of consumption and waste. Everyday disposable cutlery, symbols of our throwaway culture, are repurposed into intricate assemblages that embody both fragility and resilience. What was once discarded becomes form; what was overlooked gains voice. Their repetitive patterns and industrially processed forms reflect my scientific, analytical way of seeing the world — a perspective that ultimately led me to recognize the profound interconnection of all things, beyond the purely physical. What I once studied in biophysics — communication, networks, and flows of energy — I now experience on a metaphysical level, where vision and awareness become tools for creation. With our perception, we can manifest and shape our own worlds.

At the heart of my practice lies a philosophy of presence: being and observing is enough. The world offers endless invitations to engage, and through observation I have learned that imagination empowers us to become whoever we choose — regardless of past, origins, or what we may have missed or lost. Nothing that has happened defines who we are now; we can reinvent ourselves in every moment. Even in stillness, we can release memories and trauma that cause dis-ease. By becoming aware of the powerful mind carried within the body, we can transform, heal, and achieve what once seemed impossible — including embracing creativity as a force for renewal.

Through my work, I celebrate cycles of use and renewal, inviting viewers to reflect not only on the material realities of consumption, but also on their own capacity for healing, awareness, and joy. By transforming instruments of consumption into objects of beauty and contemplation, my art proposes that spirituality and science are not opposing truths but two perspectives on the same infinite reality.
