Narelle started drawing early. The first drawing competition Narelle entered was organised by the Commonwealth Bank in primary school where Narelle won a highly commended for a landscape of disney characters.
Three Unit Art at High School and a place was offered at Alexander Mackie College of Art to do a teaching degree but was declined.
A career of 10 years as a Travel Consultant and 20 years running her own business as a Dental Technician followed.
Narelle started Chinese Brush Stroke and Acrylic painting classes at St George Community college in 2015 where she learnt brush and watercolour technique as well as colour and composition.
Narelle paints in both watercolour and oil.
A member of Oatley 101 Society of artists she won the ardency Aroona 2019 best in show for her painting Karloo. she was also accepted to hang in the flow competition at the Museum Of Art in Wollongong.

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
