Marion was a secondary school teacher for 30 years. Initially in the Science and Food Tech. areas, Marion retrained in Graphic Design and Art. She taught in these areas for 10 years and at this time embarked on a journey to learn as much as she could about Art, Painting and the materials available to achieve art works in different genres.
"I just love the great variety of materials and methods that are out there in the world ofArt." "I have no fixed style or genre but really enjoying experimenting and trying new things." "If I had to pin down a more enduring genre I guess it would be Nature."
Marion has a passion for Acrylic Painting and enjoys adding various media to the mix.

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
