Artist Bio - Jessica Stranger

A talented Perth based artist that specializes in abstract colour using acrylic, oils and mixed media paints on canvas. An artist inspired by gorgeous colours with a natural understanding of how to blend the colours to create a story on canvas!

About me: My husband and I moved late 2021 up into the Perth Hills to a beautiful old pole house with sweeping views of the bush, Roleystone hills and we can see Perth city. When we moved in I was in love, surrounded by big thick trees, kookaburra's, Bandicoots, possums and the occasional kangaroo! Having stopped painting for the previous 4 years while I raised our young children with a FIFO hubby I was inspired to start painting again in September 2021. Shortly after I was fortunate to be picked up DiversARTy Art Gallery in Cromer Sydney where I was commissioned to do two large unstretched canvas's (launch due Jan 2022). 

In November 2021 my art collection started to grow and I was approached by a art curator in Italy (Marta Graziano) from M.A.D.S Art Gallery.

I exhibited in my first International Art show in November at the 'Hysterica' exhibition followed by the December show 'Sacrifice' (double venue Milan, Italy and Canary Islands, Spain), was a very exciting experience to have my artwork for the first time shown on the International platform. In December 2021, I was then approached by the Bricklane Art Gallery in London and doing an abstract exhibition in Feb/March 2022.
