Jane Kempe, international fine artist is best known for her vividly colored paintings inspired by the sea and the tropics.
“The colour and movement in my surrounds is fascinating. Themes I often return to are majestic yachts with colourful spinnakers, and the quiet underworld of tropical reefs ablaze with vivid corals and wildly patterned fish. The beauty of nature is ever inspiring. Tropical islands drenched in colours and light are also part of my vision. My impressions are often painted in an abstract style but are anchored in the natural world."
Jane's dynamic career has taken her to Hamilton Island in the beautiful Whitsunday Islands teaching and exhibiting since 2008.
She has also held exhibitions in Bologna, Italy, 2013, Aix en Provence, France 2014 and London in 2018. In 2016 Jane lived in the Maldives for three months as resident artist on a creative cultural exchange.
This artist has a multiplicity of styles. Illustrations are a large part of her corporate art. Fine art paintings exhibited and commissioned, are held in private collections throughout Australia and globally.
