Meet You On The Boat - Swan Bay - Queenscliff

Description : Swan Bay is a magical corner of Port Phillip Bay. It’s named after the Black Swan, yet so many birds call this place home. This piece was created after a quiet winter bike ride along the Swan Bay path. I was moved by the stillness, the sense of calm that settles over the water. I loved watching a small gathering of Pied Oystercatchers perched on a local fishing boat, with the beautiful, windswept trees of the Queenscliff Golf Club standing behind them. This moment stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to honour it in my work with Colour, texture and glazes to create the mood of Swan Bay.
