Artist Bio - Gary Stephan HopcroftHi. I'm Gary Hopcroft. I'm a retired truck driver, aged 69. I live in Capel Sound, married, have 3 children & 6 grandchildren. I'm a self taught artist, mainly influenced by my mother, Dot. I started painting upon my retirement & whilst recovering from prostate cancer surgery. I paint mainly local sceneries using acrylics on canvas. I also make & paint surfboards & mannequins. You can view my artwork on Instagram @ Gazsartz. I also sell @ Dromana Community Market the 4th Saturday of the month. Just look for the pink marquee. Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
