My name is Eve Lorraine Nelson. I was born on the 28-11-1939 at the Werrimull Hospital in Victoria.
I started School @ Meringur Vic, I had no trouble and sketching left Mildura High School at the age of 15. Family then shifted to Wandong.
Because I was always drawing I wanted to become a dress designer. However I finished up in the Hospitality trade which I loved. I got Married and had 4 Children 1 Girl 3 Boys. My Husband passed away, I remarried, we travelled along the east coast of Australia and then spent a fair bit of time in Queensland.
It was time to come back to Mildura, and I started to paint. Acrylic paint is my favourite to work with - I talk to the blends, get the fine brush to act like a sharp pencil and I love the square brush. I like humour, that I generally add to my paintings.
Recently I have decided to enter into the Art shows. I hope you enjoy viewing my paintings.
Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
