I started painting watercolour in Western Australia 2007 under Arthur Raston's guidance. I have attended workshops with Tony Smibert, and Terry Jarvis. I have recently taken up acrylic and Oil painting and enjoy all mediums. I have won a number of minor Western Australia agricultural show awards and have sold paintings in the Perth Royal show 2011 representing the Dinninbah District (Boyup Brook). During 2010 and 2011 I taught Watercolour Basics at Mandurah TAFE. We moved to Adelaide in January 2013 and I have spent time renovating our home and I have only recently returned to painting regularly. i enjoy painting landscapes both country and seascapes, I also enjoy painting flowers and animals. I have recently completed a commissioned portrait of a child. I have held three personal exhibitions at Fairbridge Farm/School in Pinjarra WA, and two at The Club in the University of Western Australia. I have entered local Council exhibitions, the Arthritus of WA annual exhibition, the Fred Hollows art exhibition, and the Contenance Foundation of Australia. |
