Jessica Cameron is a contemporary artist specialising in realism. Her monochromatic paintings explore an interest in reflective surfaces which she uses to portray varying viewpoints, drawing the viewer into her lens and immersing them in a maze of reflections.

In this current body of work Cameron photographs vintage automobiles on location, she then develops these images into large scale paintings which explore her fascination with the art of reflection.

Formally trained in art through La Trobe University and RMIT, Cameron has completed a Bachelor of Visual Art, focusing on the methods of painting, drawing and ceramics. She works from her studio based in Melbourne, Victoria and the imagery she depicts highlight local areas and iconic motifs such as St Kilda’s Luna Park and palm tree lined promenade.
