Visual artist/author Glenise Clelland.   "Age is no barrier to creativity". 

Glenise is an established artist with over 40years of exhibitiong at major galleries &selling paintings in Australia and overseas.  she studied at Brisbane College of Art -now Queensland University of Technology.  Her career as a Fashion Designer of Bridal Gowns & Haute Couture clminated in her winning the 1st Queensland Designer of the Year award.  Glenise is best known for her figurative & expressive drawings.  Her diverse genre includes Australian Landscapes & the people of the Pacific Islands.  For 23years she worked from her studio on the edge of the Noosa River at Noosa North Shoresurrounded by acres of wetlands and amazing birdlife.  Life drawing has been the backbone of all her artistic endeavors &sometimes just an excuse to play with colour.  Her vibrant & diverse oil painting,acrylics , mixed media & sculptures express her passionate love of emotive colour, texture and dynamic forms.  

Glenise's paintings are keenly sought & are represented in Government, corporate and private collections in Australia and overseas.
