Started Art classes in High School - 1960's - a lot of my sketches were incorporated in the school magazine on events each term. Studied Art in Technical College - early 70's - Realism - found this not my avenue. Studied Art again at University - 90's - Impressionism - this gave me a great outlet for my style of painting. Involved in different galleries in a secretarial role - thus getting a great insight of fellow painters works & styles. Attended an Art Class once a week to expand my knowledge & experimenting with different styles within my realm & using different mediums. Currently I have exhibited my paintings in different exhibitions in SA - also sold a few. My creative process is influenced from a scene, photo or imaginative aspects of life. I do commisioned work - so please feel free to ask if you would like a particular painting done for you. |
