Irene Henning

Abstract Painter.

I am a self taught artist based in Melbourne.  I am a regular exhibitor in group exhibitions, galleries and shows and am a member of the Hawthorn Art Society and Melbourne and Victorian Artists’ Collective. I work with acrylic paints and mixed media. I love working with colour, layers and textual marks to create light and movement, energy, and power, bringing a touch of joy to my painting. I hope my paintings stir something in the viewer, inviting them in to share a private and special conversation with my work.
