Painting has always been an itch that I was unable to scratch for many years but as I got older and family demands eased I was finally able to commence my art journey. 

As a keen traveller I was forever taking photos, telling my husband “that would be a good painting “. I’m particularly fond of landscapes and seascapes but after painting a quick portrait of a dog in a caravan park I found myself receiving commissions for pet portraits. I also love my garden hence flowers are also a favoured subject. In fact anything that takes my fancy!

My preferred medium is acrylic and, having joined Gallery247, I look forward to sharing my work with a wider audience
