I am a self taught artist who has only been painting for 3 years. My work is extremely textured as I like to sculpt my work before I paint to give a very 3D effect. At the moment I am captured by old rustic buildings as they give me the ability to use great amounts of texture to enhance the details of the brick and woodwork.
