Her father Albert Van Der Kyut, (now deceased), was also an artist, and was a major influence in her life,to pursue the craft of Art. Now, in his early 50"s, and more time on his hands, Anthony has decided to follow the family tradition. Anthonys favourite medium is pencil/graphite, and his style would be considered as Realism. Anthony draws from a photo referance, and selects his subjects from a source of photograths, which enable's him the privilage to use them. Anthony's subjects tend to be of the human form and animals. He finds these subjects to be intriguing, as they challenge him to learn and develop his skills of detail and accuracy, which is a cruicial requirement of Realism. Anthony's drawing's, attempt to capture these attributes as close to the subject as possible. |
