Hello, my name is Kay Cripps. I was born in Warwickshire in England and emigrated to Australia with my parents and brothers when I was 5 years old. I trained as a Graphic Designer in Melbourne and this has taken me to live in Europe and back to Australia. I started painting in Holland about seven years ago as a creative supplement to my Design work. Now back in Australia, in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, my painting time (and studio space) have increased and gradually taken over my design work. I work in watercolour and acrylic, painting on canvas and paper, painting mostly seascapes (waterscapes) and the interactions of humanity with water.
