LIANNE FRITSCH

Lianne is an artist living in Melbourne who has successfully implemented varied commercial and residential projects from high-end luxury homes to designing a range of soft furnishings and curating art for each specific project.  

A passion for architecture and interior design brought about a creative awareness that influenced Lianne’s design direction and style of painting. A holiday to France and Italy in 1993 was a life-changing experience captivating Lianne's imagination and passion for European life-style, streetscapes, colours and lighting that is unique to these romantic countries. 

In 2007 until 2019, Lianne embarked upon a series of journeys to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Amongst other things, Lianne photographed narrow winding laneways, elegant cafes, shuttered windows with pots of geraniums cascading over wrought iron balconies.

Some of Lianne's more recent paintings have been inspired by her travels also to country Victoria and The Mornington Peninsula. All of these things and more now serve to underpin the themes and essence of many of her watercolour and oil paintings.
