Jane Kempe, international fine artist is best known for her vividly colored paintings inspired by the sea and the tropics.
Jane's art career has taken her to Hamilton Island, part of the beautiful Whitsunday Islands, Great Barrier Reef, Australia. Her regular residencies since 2008, include teaching and solo exhibitions.
She has held exhibitions in Bologna, Italy, 2013, Aix en Provence, France 2014 and London in 2018.
A 3 month residency in 2016, took Jane to the exotic Maldives on a creative cultural exchange.
This artist has a multiplicity of styles which are popular with collectors globally including Great Britain, Switzerland, France, United States, Canada, and South East Asia.
Graduate of The Gordon Technical College, Geelong, Australia, majoring in fine art, this artist’s paintings evoke a freshness and spontaniety using bold colours and texture.

And I interpret the quiet underworld of tropical reefs as a dreamscape of colours and shapes.
The beauty of nature is ever inspiring - tropical seas and skies also become a jumping off point for my abstract expressionist paintings.
