Hi, my name is Mei! Nice to meet you =)

I have been working as a medical doctor for the past 5 years. I enjoy my work but art has always had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. Last year, I decided that it was time to pick my pencil up again and I haven’t looked back since.

My favourite artist is David Downton. I love his contemporary twist on portraiture and how he breathes life into his work with minimal purposive strokes. Less is more.

People and fashion inspire me. I like to adorn beautiful people with beautiful garments and paint the story behind their eyes.
