Born in Orange NSW August 1952 relocated to Melb VIC 1985. i have been interested in oil painting since i was a child having grown up around such fine artists as Greg Turner (Orange NSW), Doug Sealy & Tony Mason, i always had great admiration for the beauty they portrayed in their Australian landscape/seascape paintings. i began painting in 1977 i am self taught with no formal lesson. My passion for the Australian landscape has been my driving force weather it be landscape or seascape & in recent years portraiture i haved loved the challenge of recreating my visions of our beautiful & sometimes harsh landscape. I have had two successful solo exhibitions & won best in show on several occasions in country NSW. my 1st exhibition selling 32 from 38 paintings & the second one year later sold 21 of 27. Since that time i have been painting periodically due to work commitments however now semi retired i am back to doing what i enjoy doing the most painting.
