Artist Bio: Sarah Ritchie

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am a dedicated visual artist with a passion for creating. My paintings of portraits and figurative subjects explore abstract line and fractured shapes to capture movement and emotive scenes. More recently I have been developing this style with still life and landscape painting. With nearly 20 years teaching Art, Studio Art, Visual Communication and Photography to secondary students, I have a vast experience in a range of artforms, mediums and design programs, occasionally freelancing in design.
