Artist Biography

Originally from China in 1989, I now live and create in Melbourne, surrounded by the serene landscapes that continually inspire my art. After completing my Diploma of Art in Tasmania, I devoted myself fully to painting — a journey of exploration, emotion, and connection with nature.

My work focuses primarily on landscapes, expressed through oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Each medium allows me to interpret the ever-changing light and atmosphere of the natural world in a unique way.

Alongside my contemporary practice, I have also self-taught traditional Chinese gongbi painting. Through years of study and experimentation, I have developed my own style in gongbi line drawing and color — delicate yet expressive, merging Eastern precision with a modern sensibility.
