Sam Deakins studied Fine Art at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. He has since enjoyed a long career in graphic design but maintains a painting practise to be free of creative constriction. Since moving to Australia in 2012, Sam has focused his painting on portraiture. He paints in all mediums but prefers oils. His works are exhibited in renowned galleries and his sought after paintings are found in private collections both within Australia and overseas.
