Nic Kirkman is an emerging artist and teacher. Her work is loose and energetic, with an unusually juicy palette of mostly transparent colours. her work is often quirky and fills people with joy and delight. With teaching at Peninsula Arts Society (in particular) she's remained versitile regarding subject matters and mediums to be able to guide her students in their own artistic pursuits. While primarily a portrait artist, she also enjoys doing trees, flowers, cartoon cats, life drawing, still life, land and sea scapes, and spiritual/metaphorical paintings.
