Jeni Mawter "Reimagining Story" •I am a self-taught artist living in Manly NSW •Once, a highly successful Children’s Author writing funny stories - So Gross! series and Unleashed! series (HarperCollins Publishers Australia).
•My books were irreverent and quirky with a sense of humour likened to Roald Dahl, Andy Griffiths and Tim Winton.
•My paintings are irreverent too. Take an expectation and dump it on its head.
•I love painting in watercolours because they refuse to behave like they’re meant to. And as with books there is always an unexpected punchline.
