Biography

Sharmain Lowe grew up in the lovely Yarra Valley, Victoria. She started her career off designing and making knitwear for two shops, Blue Doll in Carlton and Twin Set in Armadale. It was the love of colour and texture led her to painting.

Statement from the Artist

I am a self taught artist and a keen gardener. I have a love of both texture and colour, with my main inspirations being fabric and nature. I am a contemporary impressionist artist, creating mainly abstract peices. While I am very new to the art scene, I have always been quite artistic.
