Edward was born in Sydney in 2000; from a young age he had always enjoyed drawing and writing short stories. Edward took up art classes when he was seven years old with a local fine artist where he learnt how to paint using acrylics for two years.
At the age of thirteen, fascinated by the works of the early Impressionists and from the Baroque period, Edward took interest in oil painting and portraiture. Now at the age of sixteen, he primarily paints portraiture in oils and has won a few prizes at local art shows. Edward tours between realistic and abstract representations, hoping to narrate and evoke emotions through his artwork. Though the majority of his work is inspired by impressionism and realism, he hopes to evolve his work with more complicated and meaningful compositions. Edward currently studies and resides in Adelaide.
