I am an emerging glass artist working in 2D and sculptural forms as well as incorporating photographic imagery in my work. I have always been drawn to creative media that offer fluidity in form, initially in ceramics and then with kiln formed glass. The intrinsic beauty of glass has allowed me to explore the interplay of depth and perspective, particularly in multi-layered forms, as well as the creation of imagery and surface textures. As I have developed my understanding of the properties of warm glass, I have been able to adapt it to reflect other artistic techniques, such as drawing, painting and photography - together or as stand-alone works.
