Drawing and painting since she could hold a pen, art has always been an integral part of Talia’s life. From local commissions as a child, to selling direct to collectors, her artwork has resonated with the community. Raised on the Mornington peninsula in Victoria, Talia is majorly a self-taught artist, until now at 18, taking a course in fine art. Talia’s painting practice is inspired by nature and the human experience; “I love to paint portraits and figures, reflecting our most authentic and uplifted selves.” aiming to “hopefully create an atmosphere of potential and beauty”. Using a combination of mixed media and oil techniques, she expresses herself in her process, to render layered and vibrant imagery. Creating a multi-dimensional, ethereal feeling in her pieces.
