Beverley Ann Wood Contact 0417032299 Beverley Ann Wood was born in Melbourne, lives on the Mornington Peninsula and has had a passion for drawing and painting since early childhood. In 1982 Beverley commenced formal training in the traditional realist method using oil paint as her preferred medium. Since then she has enjoyed painting in various mediums such as watercolour, pastel, acrylic and mixed media. The subjects which inspire her most include houses, flowers, gardens and seascapes often featuring figures or children playing. Her paintings are represented in private, corporate and public collections throughout Australia and overseas. She exhibits in selected art shows and has received numerous awards for her work. In 1993 Beverley held a solo exhibition of oils and watercolours at Mulgrave Art Gallery and in 1999 a shared exhibition with Regina Hona at Guild House Galleries. Beverley's work has been represented at Poloroo Gallery, Southbank, Melbourne, Peninsula Galleries, Sorrento, Mulgrave Art Gallery and Guild Gallery, Tyabb. Beverley is a member of A.G.R.A., The PeninsulaArt Society and McClelland Guild of Artists. |
