I am a relative newcomer to the art world having undertaken my first art lesson in 2009 but not progressing much further until, in 2018 after a Parkinson's Disease diagnosis, I gave up full-time paid work to spend more time in the studio.

Moving to the beautiful southern Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia in 2020 has provided the most relaxing and inspirational backdrop to drive my focus.

Beginners Charcoal Drawing classes in 2016 drew me to an enthusiasm for animal studies, and the dramatic use of contrast not only in my charcoals but also my oil pantings.

Most recently I have developed an enthusiasm for painting birds, florals and land/seascapes.

My work continues to evolve as I spend more time in my studio.

I have been fortunate to have been short-listed for a number of exhibitions and have won several First Prizes and Commendations since starting my painting journey.

I have sold quite a few paintings and have been honoured to have been asked to do over a dozen commissions.
