Tim O’Shea was born in 1977 and grew up in Adelaide. He gained a Bachelor of Education: Secondary Art Design from the University of South Australia. He has been a teacher of Art and Design since and is a committed artist. As a coastal dweller and keen sailor his paintings are often inspired by the beach, sea, coastal landscapes and vineyards. Living in London for a period, travelling extensively and teaching art at the prestigious King’s College School provided life-changing experiences that added a new dimension to his work.  They are a tapestry of moments experienced, memories captured and unforgettable accounts of travel. He has been a finalist in the world’s premier Landscape Art award, The Fleurieu Art Prize on three occasions and a finalist in Australia’s leading Natural History Art award, The Waterhouse Prize. His work has been shown in galleries in Adelaide and London, has held several successful solo exhibitions and still continues to exhibit widely.  His work is held in private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas. Tim O’Shea is a teaching member of the Art Faculty at St Peter’s College, Adelaide. He still remains an avid traveller.
