Origionally trained as a commercial artist in Brisbane during the 1960s,I later decided to expand my outlook to Fine Art, studying at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and graduating in1980 with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Fine Art Painting. I have exercised my work through various galleries in Queensland and Victoria, since then.Currently I participate in many locally based art communites in the Macedon Ranges and in metropolitan Melbourne. Colour is an essential aspect of my work. Expressionism is my vehicle and I use the human form, landscapes and animals as my point of departure to make my statements. My work shows strong line work, colour and mark making. Education. 2010 New York Study Tour with Dr Robyn Kingston,Art Coordinator Art Dept RMIT.
