About the Artist - Diane Yousouf Diane is a Sydney based Contemporary Artist working in oils, acrylics, soft pastels and watercolour. As a child Diane was always drawing and painting. Diane studied art with Linda Simonis from 2003 to 2015. She also attended workshops and demonstrations with local and international artists. Plein air painting and sketching are a great way to develop skills as an artist, and Diane regularly paints or sketches on location. The distinctive Australian light is the inspiration for many of her paintings. Diane's works are held in private collections in Australia and overseas. These included being the society Social Secretary and the Bankstown Art Society's delegate to the Combined Art Societies of Sydney committee.
