Jean Hendy is an Australian amateur artist based in Melbourne, Australia. She has no formal art education, however following a scientific career, she has recently undertaken several drawing classes at The Victorian Artist Society in Melbourne, Australia. She is a keen traveller and draws much of her inspiration for drawing from experiences whilst travelling. Her preferred mediums are pastel pencil, graphite pencil and charcoal. She is a member of The Australian Guild of Realist Artists and The Doncaster and Templestowe Artists Society and has received Commended and Highly Commended Awards at exhibitions run by these groups.
