I grew up surrounded by plants and a love of nature from an early age as my family owned plant nurseries.
I also grew up with a passion for art and have attended drawing classes over the years but am a self-taught painter.
After trying a few different mediums, these days I enjoy working mainly with acrylics using brush & palette knives and I love the vibrant colours of nature.
Mother Nature continually delights me, with Australian native flowers being my current passion. To be honest I find beauty in lots of places so am inspired to paint a wide variety of plants & landscapes that I see. A trip to WA before the pandemic during the wildflower season just blew my mind and I am hoping to return to WA with a stack of canvas & brushes to paint the swathes of gorgeous colour soon. That is my idea of bliss!
