I am an Iranian-Australian artist with expertise in traditional Persian miniature painting. In

addition to my qualifications, I have also formally studied carpet design and decoration, as well

as Persian calligraphy and floristry. I now work primarily with acrylic on canvas to create

modern paintings that combine and illustrate elements of the natural world with human

existence. Birds are a prominent and recurring feature in my artwork because I believe they

share a very special relationship with humanity. In total, I have held sixteen solo exhibitions

across Iran, the United States and Australia, along with many more group exhibitions.
