Lucy Rao has a background of Science, Computing and Education graduating from The University of Melbourne, Rusden Institute, and RMIT. Her interest in Visual Arts has seen her practising art from a very early age, completing numerous short courses, with a Diploma of Visual Art at the CAE. She believes that Science, Nature and the Creative Process are irrefutably bound.

Lucy is interested in Oil Painting, Water Colour, Sculpture and trying out new techniques whenever she can. She finds a lot of joy in losing herself in her Art.

“I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil. Making art makes me happy so I have been indulging myself for many years. I first entered the Linden Post Card Exhibition in 2013 and I was pleased and grateful that I won The People’s Choice Award with a watercolour titled “City Parade”.
