My work mainly consists of drawings and paintings created with watercolours, graphite, ink, gouache and oils. I gather inspiration from found images, films and personal photographs and transform them into new ideas that reflect my worldview. The works are usually figurative, detailed and on a small scale-to create intimacy between the artwork and the viewer. Sometimes I work in themes but at other times the artworks are ambiguous and are left up to the viewer to interpret. I completed an Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts in 2011.
