Artist Bio: Julie Currey

I enjoy both figurative and abstract painting and explore a variety of subject matters and concepts.  Currently I am expressing through my art my fascination with the contradictory nature of human behaviour - how our words, thoughts, and belief systems don't always match our actions, particularly with regard to social and environmental issues. These most recent works are part of a body of work that explores this dissonance.  To learn  more about me, visit.    www.juliecurrey.wordpress.com
