The artworks in this collection are inspired by the specific places that are mentioned in their individual descriptions. Slowing down and really becoming part of nature has always been my way of regeneration - I talk about listening to the sounds of silence but in reality you get such a heightened awareness of all your senses, especially when walking in the forest or on an isolated beach. I don’t use specific photographic references for these but before starting may flick through all the photos I took to help me recreate my feeling of being there..

Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.
