As far as I can remember I have loved colour and drawing, even when I wasn't very good at it at a young age. I remember spending hours arranging my coloured pencils into groups of colours and trying to find combinations that worked well together. But when you love something you keep doing it and with practice your skill slowly improves, hopefully!

In my early twenties I went over seas for a holiday and happened to meet the love of my life. I got married and started a family in Greece. My husband would be away for work committments long hours and days, so drawing and painting became my favourite hobby. Initially my medium of choice was watercolour but after taking art  lessons for a couple of years I discovered other mediums such as acrylic, oil pastel, mixed media, soft pastel and oil. My house is full of my art work, I couldn't imagine life without art and colour.  

The last couple of years I have joined forces with my cousin who is also loving art and painting and we spend hours talking and sharing ideas about our next project and we sometimes go to craft markets and sell our art work, it's such a great feeling when we see other people commenting on and  loving our work, as much as we do! There are days when I feel I just have to create something, it's a creative force and I love it, I hope it shows in my art and I hope I can share it with you!
