Artist Bio - Anthony DavisHello, I'm Anthony and I live with my Wife in Bayside, Melbourne. I started painting earlier last year (2023), I've had a keen interest in painting for many years but with working and family life the timing was never right. Once the kids moved out of home and we found ourselves with more space and my working hours reduced to part time, I was able to make a start. I'm enjoying trying different mediums and techniques and although I am still finding my niche, I'm really embracing the creativity of abstract painting. I'm enjoying entering my paintings in the Rotary Art Shows, it has been a good experience to display my artwork and also view and appreciate other Artist's pieces. Have been with gallery247 for 6 years, both free and now paid. Wonderful on line platform for artists which has made my work easy to find and i don't need to worry about setting up my own website; they even forwarded a message from a community college i volunteered for a few years ago, for an art tutor.

I have recently become a member of Gallery 247 as an artist, and am so impressed. Communication was quick and very personable. The website seems very user friendly. With the couple of questions I emailed I was looked after with a phone call and very kindly and professionally looked after. Highly recommend.
